The Auckland Racing Club is one of the oldest sporting institutions in New Zealand and is on a journey to redefine the celebration of thoroughbred racing, fashion and entertainment. An opportunity exists to join the Marketing Team of the Year 2007 (New Zealand Sales & Marketing Institute) in a key position to fulfil this company direction. Reporting to the Marketing Director, this senior role has variety and challenge and involves all aspects of marketing strategy, PR, communications, media and event management. Strong written communication skills and the ability to be well organised and create solid relationships are key to this role. Experience in sports media and interest, or involvement, in the racing industry is preferred. We are looking for a dynamic tertiary qualified team player with at least 5 years marketing communications experience.
