With the scratching of pre-post favourite Counter Punch, punters only wanted to back one horse with Bennyosler duly obliging in what turned out to be the day's worst result for the bookies. Other bad results for the bookies included Bennyosler's stablemate Governor Bois, The Twist, Metrical and Petipas Delight. For the bookies Toms Oscar, Tick Tock Turbo and Don't Say Clang were all good results. Winners: Bennyosler $5000 @ $4 to return $20,000, Metrical $3500 @ $3.80 to return $13,300, Don Dixit $3000 @ $6 to return $18,000, Metrical $2000 @ $3.80 to return $7600, Romeo $1800 @ $6.50 to return $11,900, Petipa's Delight 1K @ $7 to return $7000. Losers: Elblitzem $5000 @ $2.80, Sacha $5000 @ $2.60, Yanna Marie $5000 @ $3.00. |
